On June the 19th until June the 23th 2023, the 3rd Conference on “Physical Modeling for Virtual Manufacturing Systems and Processes” will be held at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Monterey, CA. The topics cover aspects of manufacturing engineering, scientific computing and physics. The overall topic of all contributions will deal with the physical modeling and visualization of production engineering at the process level, machine level, and factory level.

 

The main contributors of the conference will be the doctoral researchers of the 3rd and last cohort of the International Training Group – IRTG 2057. The agenda is supplemented by talks from invited guests – covering scientific talks as well as talks on scientific data management.

 

Another focus will be talks and workshops on career perspectives to enable the doctoral researchers insights and a path to a successful career in academics or industry.
